Installation:To obtain maximum separation efficiency proper installation of PARAS PADS are required while installing of pad a suitable clearance height must be maintained under and above the pads
- For diameter below 500 mm the clearance under pads must be approximate equal to diameter of pad.
- For diameter from 600 mm to 2000 mm the clearance must be kept 500 mm under and 400 mm above respectively.
- For diameter above 3000 mm and up 6000 mm clearance should be 1000 mm under and 700 mm above the pad to be maintained.
Fixing Arrangements:
Paras Pads along with support grids are tied or bolted with vessel by using tie wires or fasteners.
- Single piece pad from pads are installed in open vessel from top or bottom and fixed with tie wires or bolted with brackets.
- For mattresses from pads in segments with support grids are installed in vessel through manhole and rest on a annular ring welded to vessel wall. The purchaser should provide 50 to 60 mm wide ring for pad diameter up to 2000 mm and 70 to 80 mm wide ring for larger pad diameter duly drilled 3 to 6 mm dia hole to fix with tie wires or 12 to 14 mm dia holes to fix with fasteners. If diameter of pad is more than 1750 mm, than one or more support beams should be provided the maximum distance between two beams should not be more than 1.5 to 1.75 M.
